cobbled streets

Starting with the base of this outfit, a black jumpsuit from Topshop. I’ve had this for about two years and i’m still loving every part of it. Jumpsuits are such a staple in ones wardrobe, especially a plain black one. I’ve worn this for an interview, on a night out or even for just a stroll round the shops. It’s the most versatile piece I think I own! This particular jumpsuit is very flattering. The sleeve length is perfect for people like me who may be a little self conscious of their arms as it hides a multitude of sins. The fairly open wrap front is very easy to pair with a lovely bra-let, or even a turtle neck sleeveless top if you want to keep the décolletage covered up. The way the d-ring belt sits on the waistline creates a flattering finish over the stomach and behind. And, the length of trousers pairs amazingly with a heeled boot like I have, or a nice heel for an elongated leg.

This jacket was a slight investment purchase whilst I was down in London, from the lovely shop called Cos. I’d wanted a long duster/mac style coat for a while and was going to opt for a traditional beige. However, whilst shopping around I saw this stunning one – the dull pink tone stood out to me and I couldn’t say no. My only regret is I wish I bought it in a smaller size…but that’s not the end of the world.

Bag…you’ll of seen it before in several posts. The verity backpack from Whistles is a piece I will cherish for a long long time, and pair with a wide variety of outfits.

And as for the shoes… If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you may have previously seen me style these beautiful boots before… (sassy snakeskin) I bought these boots a year ago and they’re honestly still my favourite! The muted nude tones makes it super easy to pair with any outfit. I will admit, after a while of walking round they get a little uncomfortable but no pain no gain, right? (they’re actually still in the sale for a fraction of the original price – here)

I also had this scarf on that was refusing to part take in the wind so I eventually took it off….This is just from Topshop.

I guess this whole outfit is an investment piece for me…well the outer parts of it anyway! I definitely feel very expensive and very classy when I styled this outfit.
